Stream or River Fishing
Upstream fishing - Here you must contend with water pushing your lure back to you. Change the speed and the depth of your retrieves. Keep a low profile on the water by bending over or kneeling because the fish will be swimming towards you when chasing the lure.
Downstream fishing - Here you vary the depth and the speed of the lure simply by raising or lowering the rod. The current allows you to make multiple approaches without re-casting.
